I had surgery in March 2026 at Genesis Ambulatory Surgery Center in Santa Ana, Ca., and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience.
I especially want to recognize Sabrina, Meredith, Kimberly, and Viri for the outstanding care they provided. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect.
As someone who is self-conscious about my weight—especially in situations where I need extra assistance—I often feel anxious in medical settings. I’m very aware that healthcare workers are often overworked and stretched thin, and because of that, empathy can sometimes take a back seat. That was absolutely not the case here.
Every single person I encountered showed me nothing but patience, understanding, and warmth. Even when I found myself apologizing for my size, they responded with such natural acceptance, making me feel like I was simply another person deserving of care—no judgment, no discomfort, just kindness.
I am incredibly grateful not only to the nursing staff, but also to the anesthesiologist and doctor for their professionalism and excellent care.
Thank you all for making what could have been a very vulnerable and stressful experience feel safe, respectful, and genuinely positive. It meant more to me than I can fully express.
